, Africa Oil has been involved in the construction and rehabilitation of several primary schools. Solar lamps were distributed to students preparing for national examinations, both improving study conditions and reducing ill effects of exposure to kerosene.
, Africa Oil has focused on the provision of essential services (water, health, and education) to communities. In 2011, construction of a new health centre in the Dharoor Valley was completed, significantly improving access to quality health services and outcomes for patients.
